Max Rogers, MD

Board-Certified: Obstetrics and Gynecology

“Having been born and raised in Mobile, I’m delighted and honored to provide healthcare to the women of the Mobile area. Creating caring personal relationships with my patients is probably the most important thing I do, but it’s also important to have highly effective clinical teams that offer the highest quality healthcare. I learned this when I was a Marine Corps aviator where they taught the military’s ‘zero tolerance for error” mindset. I try to bring this approach to Bay Area Physicians for Women every day.”

Born and raised in Mobile, Dr. Rogers is a former Marine and Naval Aviator who flew F/A-18 “Hornet” Strike Fighters. He has drawn on that experience and its “zero tolerance for error” to concentrate on patient safety and quality improvement in Women’s Healthcare. He has spoken to and taught physicians on patient safety and high-reliability teams and dedicated a significant part of his life and career to error reduction and improved patient outcomes.

Words can’t express how much I appreciate Dr. Max. He helped me through a really complicated pregnancy and was there for me whenever needed. Let’s just say Dr. Max knows how to keep you calm during a pregnancy with multiples. It doesn’t hurt that he has first-hand experience with triplets himself.”

Dr. Max is simply amazing. He has been there with my family through a miscarriage and two high-risk pregnancies. Anytime I have ever had any concern about my health, we moved heaven and earth to reassure me that I and my babies were going to be ok. I can never repay him for the excellent care he has given me.”
